A. ACCOMMODATION FEES

 

• Notes on Accommodation Fees

a) These fees are for over night stay in the lodges, chalets, cottages, camping and picnic facilities.
b) Provided that where firewood is the only means of cooking one bundle will be provided for free .
c) Guests who make bookings and occupy Parks accommodation for seven consecutive nights are entitled to one free night within the continuous period.
d) Accommodation fees are inclusive of 2% tourism levy ( for foreigners ) and 2% levy and and VAT for locals
e) Camping and picnic fees are charged per person unless otherwise specified. All ordinary sites take a maximum of 6 people and one vehicle, Exclusive and undeveloped sites maximum of 12 people and 2 vehicles.
f) All children (6-12 Years) shall pay special rates for camping 50% of the adult fee.
g) Educational tours groups to be charged 50% on camping fees
h) Accommodation shall be charged per lodge per night, unless otherwise indicated

• Cancellation Policy:

a) Cancellation prior to 14days  50% refund
b) Cancellation within 14days  no refund

B. MISCELLANEOUS FEES

Rainforest Special Activities
a) The use of the statue site for special activities in the Rain Forest in the Victoria Falls National Park, limited to a party of ten (10) people and whose stay shall not exceed two hours, shall be charged as follow. Persons resident in Zimbabwe -US$100-00 including entry fees. Persons not resident in Zimbabwe -US$500-00
b)The same fees shall apply for half a day for similar special activities in all other parks.

• Bush Dinner Sites

Bush Dinner Sites shall be charged as follow. Residents - US$5, 00 per person, Non Residents, US$10.00

• Firewood

Firewood shall be charged as follows US$5.00/bundle.

• Release of Impounded Items

Release of Impounded Vehicle or Motorized Equipment
Release of impounded vehicle or motorized equipment shall be charged as follow; US$1000 for Zimbabwe residents and US$2000 for non residents.

Release of Impounded Non Motorized Vessels
a) Dingies - US$150.00
b) Bicycles - US$60.00
c) Wheel Baroows - US$50.00
d) Push Cart - US$100.00
e) Scotch Cart - US$200.00
f) Fishing Rod - US$30.00

Release of Impounded Kapenta Rig
Fee for release of impounded kapenta rig shall be US$2000 for locals and US$4000 for non residents.

Release of Impounded Beasts
Charge for release of impounded beast per beast per day shall be US$2, 00.

Note: All impounded assets will be disposed of after 3 months

• Day time use of library

a) Individuals: Students - US$10, 00/person/per quarter
b) Individuals: Professionals - US$2,00/person/ day
c) Individuals - US$30 per quarter
d) Organizations - US$100 per quarter
Note: No books shall be removed from the library

Compensation-
Payable by persons who illegally kill game:

b) In other cases, the trophy value of the animal as of the current live animal auction prices for any loss or damage of property

c) Current replacement value.

Note-
The Authority may waive the above charges, where in its opinion, conservation interests are at stake or life is threatened.
