This project is an initiative to cover pot holes that have marred the road to the Parks Authority headquarters. This is also coming at the time Parks Authority wants to create a green environment for their clients and make the organisation a tourist destination.

The road construction project which is being funded by Zimbabwe Parks Authority Management and will change the face of the organisation as it will be in line with their main goal to have best business facilities not just in Zimbabwe but the whole of Africa.

“This project was inspired by our Public Relations department which painted our facilities with colours of our logo green and yellow as you can see from the gate to all our facilities and it is in this juncture that we saw it reasonable to also reconstruct our road” said Parks Authority Procurement Administrator Mr Rameki Mukonyo.

Mr Mukonyo further alludes that this is aimed at attracting clients who came to the main offices to make bookings for visiting the organisation’s recreational facilities. He states that if their clients get charmed by the facilities at the headquarters they will also get tempted to see the beauty of their recreational facilities. He added that they are going to put a very strong road which they are building with industrial interlocks which can even accommodate heavy duty cars.
