Boundless Southern Africa DVD… |
|

Final editing to a one hour fifty minute DVD dubbed the Boundless Southern Africa Expedition was done in Johannesburg South Africa. The DVD features His Excellency President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe .Cde Mugabe delivered a speech during a meeting of heads of state which was held in Namibia last year. In it are two up sounds from Environment and Natural Resources Management Minister Cde F.D.C.Nhema.Also featured in the DVD is the Director Conservation who is now the Acting Director General for PWMA Mr. Vitalis Chadenga.
Still in Zimbabwe three Primary School children who recited a poem about their `wish to see human beings living alongside animals appear twice in the DVD but most prominently at the end of the DVD where their poem is played in full. This is a plus for Zimbabwe considering that the primary school children were chosen from a host of pupils who either recited their poems or displayed their dramas in the one hundred and twenty days that the boundless southern Africa expedition transversed through the sadc region in the seven transftontier conservation areas.
The Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe which is not only a world heritage site but also one of the seven natural wonders of the world tours above any tourist attraction that was captured during the journey, not to be outdone is the Chilojo cliffs in Gonarezhou not to mention Zimbabwe’s flora and fauna which is still in its pristine state. This will no doubt steer interests in people who are going to watch this DVD to yearn to visit Zimbabwe. Long term plans are that the DVD be translated in other languages thereby affording an opportunity to none speaking English countries to understand more about these tourist attractions in the SADC region. The Boundless Southern Africa Expedition DVD will no doubt go a long way in marketing Zimbabwe as a tourist destination of choice.
Boundless Southern Africa transversed through 2 oceans,9 countries,7 world heritage sites,7 transfrontier conservation areas and 30 national parks and reserves.
