FARE THEE WELL STEVE KOK...

ON 13 August 2010 Parks and Wildlife Management Authority received sad news that a man who for thirteen years had been committed to conservation had died. Knowing his commitment and passion to protecting wildlife it did not take long for the Director General Parks and Wildlife Management Authority Mr. Viltalis Chadenga to agree to the family's wish, that of officially burning his body in the bush and later allowing the ashes blow all around. This according to his wife, Trish Kok, Steve felt he would then be forever remembered.

People like Steve are hard to come by and with poaching on the increase and poachers getting sophisticated by the day; one would have wished he had lived longer. The buffalo that had attacked Mr. Kok was hunted down. May his soul rest forever in eternal peace.
